Lockerbie Manor is usually run as a hotel, however due to popular demand we have decided to offer the manor house on a fully staffed exclusive basis for those of you who just love the idea of having your very own manor house for a few days. We have 30 bedrooms and can easily accommodate anywhere up to 65 overnight guests. This package is available for a 2 night stay from Monday to Thursday*.

On the eve of your wedding you will be personally greeted at the airport or railway station and driven back to our warm inviting 18th Century Manor House. Edinburgh, Glasgow and Newcastle airports are about 90 minutes away, Carlisle railway station is 30 minutes drive and Lockerbie railway station is less than 5 minutes drive.

On arrival at Lockerbie Manor you will be met at the door with a welcoming glass of champagne. James, Katie or Andy will then show you around the beautiful lounges and restaurant each with big log fires and original wood panelling that make Lockerbie Manor so special. Once you have settled in you will be shown to our new Honeymoon Suite where you will find flowers, chocolates and champagne on ice.

Your guests will be greeted at reception and shown to their rooms before meeting you in the Adam Lounge for refreshments where you will find a roaring fire and if you wish a pianist or harpist can be arranged to play background music.

Our Chef will prepare you a bistro supper in our famous Queensbury Restaurant where you can enjoy a leisurely meal and a relaxing evening.

On the morning of your wedding your groom and guests will be served a full Scottish breakfast in the Restaurant, whilst you will be woken in the morning with breakfast and bucks fizz served in your room, leaving you time to get organised before the beauty professionals come and pamper you, along with some of your female guests if you wish. Your photographer will arrive to begin capturing your special day; naturally your album is included in this package. Your bouquet will also be delivered to your room during the course of the morning and your groom will receive his buttonhole.

For the gentlemen we can arrange a variety of activities to pass the morning including golf, clay pigeon shooting and fishing.
Your guests will be asked to gather in one of our lounges before your ceremony where they will enjoy champagne and canapés before being shown to their seats for the big moment.  Once your groom is at the altar you will be piped from your room to the ceremony where everybody will be awaiting your arrival. We can arrange to play your choice of music during the ceremony or if you prefer a church organist will play for you.

After the ceremony the photographer will whisk you away for your photographs while a falconry display entertains your guests.

Your toastmaster will then ask everybody to be seated for your sumptuous 4 course wedding breakfast which will naturally be served with fine wine and champagne for the toast. The tables will be decorated with fresh flowers in keeping with your colour scheme and each guest will have a personal name card and favour incorporated in their place setting. After the speeches your toastmaster will invite you to cut your wedding cake which can be served with coffee after the meal.

Your evening reception will be held in our Johnstone suite and will include a hot buffet and live music or a DJ if you prefer.

When you have danced the night away you will retire to the luxury of our new honeymoon suite where you will find champagne on ice and juicy fresh strawberries to help you unwind from your day.
The following morning you will be served a full Scottish breakfast in the Queensbury Restaurant giving you the chance to bid your guests farewell before your driver takes you back to the airport or train station.
