Festive programmes 2008-09
Christmas 2008 Wednesday 24th – Saturday 27th December
Take the strain out of Christmas and let our friendly team look after you here at Lockerbie Manor. Relax in the beautiful region of Dumfries and Galloway; enjoy the stunning countryside, picturesque views and warm hospitality whilst staying in the luxury of our 18th century Georgian Manor House.
Christmas Eve
On arrival you will be given a warm welcome and the chance to enjoy some homemade mince pies and mulled wine before being shown around our beautiful lounges and restaurant, each with big log fires and original wood panelling that help make Lockerbie Manor so special. When you are ready you will be shown to your room allowing you some time to unwind before dinner.
There will be a champagne reception in the bar from 7pm followed by a three course meal served in our famous Queensbury Dining Room.
Following dinner, there will be Scottish Country Dancing in our Johnstone Suite, or if you prefer why not relax in front of one of our roaring log fires with a drink from the bar.
Christmas Day
Merry Christmas! Enjoy a light continental style breakfast and a relaxing morning before our 4 course Christmas Lunch with all the trimmings, served in the Queensbury Dining Room from 1pm.
A Christmas buffet will be served in the evening from 6-9pm.
Boxing Day
A full Scottish Breakfast will be served to set you up for the day, whether you chose to spend it walking in the local countryside, sightseeing, visiting friends or perhaps even just spending a lazy day in and around the hotel.
Dinner will again consist of a 3 course meal in our Queensbury Dining Room and will be followed with live entertainment.
Saturday 27th December
Wake up to a full Scottish Breakfast before bidding a fond farewell to all your new found friends and of course from the team here at Lockerbie Manor – until next time that is!

Hogmanay
On arrival you will be given a warm welcome and the chance to enjoy a welcoming drink and some homemade shortbread before being shown around our beautiful lounges and restaurant, each with big log fires and original wood panelling that help make Lockerbie Manor so special. When you are ready you will be shown to your room allowing you some time to unwind before dinner.
A Gala Dinner will be served in our Queensbury Dining Room and will be followed with live entertainment and dancing until the lone piper plays in the New Year and we enjoy a spectacular fireworks display in the grounds.
New Year’s Day
Happy New Year! Enjoy a light continental style breakfast and a relaxing morning before our 4 course New Year Lunch with all the trimmings, served in the Queensbury Dining Room from 1pm.
The afternoon entertainment will consist of clay pigeon shooting in the grounds before a light bistro style dinner in the evening. There will be a New Year disco in our Johnstone Suite in the evening, or if you prefer why not relax in front of one of our roaring log fires with a drink from the bar.
